Праздник "Рождество по-английски"
Сценарий внеклассного мероприятия для учащихся 5–7-х классов на английском языке
Цели:
1. Развитие умений говорения.
2. Расширение лексического запаса.
3. Формирование и развитие социокультурной компетенции.
4. Развитие творческих способностей.
Оборудование: газеты от каждого класса, рождественские открытки на стендах; елка; плакат-поздравление “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”; постеры “Merry Christmas”; подсвечник со свечами; воздушные шары; звукозапись песен; костюм Санта Клауса; яркий костюм распорядителя праздника, украшенный лентами, колокольчиками, серпантином; костюмы сказочных героев; большой рождественский “чулок” с конфетами и сувенирами; три рождественских пудинга, испечённых по разным английским рецептам; призы, почётные грамоты победителям конкурсов газет и рождественских открыток; благодарности за активное участие в подготовке праздника и участие в нём.

Santa Claus: Hello, boys and girls. Hello, our guests. I am glad to see you. Merry Christmas!

White Rabbit: Oh dear, oh dear. I am late. (Подходит к Санта Клаусу.) Hello.
Santa Claus: Hello.
White Rabbit: Hello, what’s your name?
Santa Claus: I’m Santa Claus.
White Rabbit: Where’s your home? Not very close? Is it there behind that wall?
Santa Claus: No, it’s far at the North Pole! White Rabbit, welcome to our party.
White Rabbit: Oh, with great pleasure.

Santa Claus: Christmas is a religious holiday. It is celebrated on December 25 as the birthday of Christ. Christmas is a family holiday. All people try to stay at home and spend the time with their families. They send cards or Christmas greetings to their relatives and friends. Some families send and get dozens of Christmas cards.
Doctor Dolittle: Children sing carols and recite Christmas poems. They trim their Christmas-tree with strings of coloured lights and put glass and plastic ornaments on the tree. The presents are placed under it.
Hedgehog: Little children hang up their stockings on Christmas Eve. They believe that when they are asleep, Father Christmas (Santa Claus) comes to visit them.
White Mouse: He comes down the chimney with a big bag of toys. If the children are good, Santa fills their stockings with sweets, fruits, and toys. He puts some toys under the tree. On Christmas morning, the children look into their stockings to get a present.
Сat: Usually the whole family has a big Christmas dinner in the afternoon or evening. The traditional Christmas meal is roast turkey and Christmas pudding.
Jip the Dog: Sometimes English families trim trees outside their houses.
They place candles in the windows, which light the paths of singers who go from house to house singing the “glad tidings”. The air is filled with the sounds of Christmas songs, the stores are decorated in red and green, the traditional Christmas colours.

Далее следует процесс награждения учащихся за участие в празднике. Санта Клаус раздаёт сувениры и угощает всех конфетами.
