My School in the Future

It’s ten o’clock. Time to go to school – the lessons begin at 10.30! Now I shall have breakfast. Launcher 2051 Smart is the best for light morning meals. Oh, I’m late! The school bus has already left! I shall use a teleporter then. Oh!... I’m at school now.

The first lesson is astronomy. Today we’ll learn about the Sirius star system and then we shall fly to Alpha Centauri on an excursion about black holes.

Our breaks last for 30 minutes at least and we manage everything we planned. Nobody fights or quarrels because we are all friends. Our longest break lasts for an hour and we can rest a lot. Our school has 12 floors and there are different facilities there, such as a swimming pool, a computer room, three libraries, a dance club, a science lab with telescopes and microscopes, a school art museum and even an amusement park in the large school yard.

We have 10 marks, because there are different shades of meanings:

10 – marvelous

9 – amazing

8 – very good

7 – good

6 – not bad

5 – average

4 – below average

3 – poor

2 – bad

1 – awful

But most of the pupils usually get an 8.

Usually we have 6 lessons a day, but nobody gets tired because our teachers tell us only the most interesting and necessary things. We study five days a week, on Saturdays and Sundays we have rest. Sometimes our lessons resemble a game.

Our second lesson is computer study, where our teacher instructs us on how to create simple OS and how to change Windows Terra’s programme code. Today he will show us the new programme Microsoft Word 2051.

We go on excursions every week. We visit different places on the Earth, but sometimes we visit other planets. We have biology lessons there and our teacher tells us many exciting facts about the planet where we live.

We don’t have to learn other languages, because our parents put some languages in our memory: French, German, Spanish, English, Chinese and even Japanese.

Today our third lesson is the last. It is physycal education. We have no physycal education lessons as usual, we have sports sections. There are 16 pupils in our class and everybody goes to different sections. I go to carting and table tennis sections. And I like swimming in our pool.

Our parents can check our marks in two ways – in our electronic handy diaries, or they can go to our school site and see them there. But school isn’t a nightmare for pupils now. Every day in our school there is a little adventure and we all go to school with great pleasure. And I want to add, that school needn’t be a nightmare, in fact our school years are our best years!
