Неделя иностранных языков

Цели недели:

– научить детей практически использовать языковые знания и умения, полученные на уроках, в пении песен, чтении стихов и игре в спектаклях, оформлении и издании газет на языке;
– расширить лексический запас учащихся за счет введения дополнительной лексики и новых разговорных клише;
– помочь оценить свои знания и возможности в языке.

Задачи недели:

– лучше изучить английскую литературу, фольклор, музыку на примере пьес и песен;
– использовать язык для самообразования;
– развивать познавательный интерес;

1. FLOWER MEETING

Пьеса исполняется под музыку П.И. Чайковского.

Buttercup:

Buttercups, buttercups,
Oh, the nicest flowers
Coming in the springtime
To tell of sunny hours
When the fields are black
When the trees are bare
Buttercups, buttercups
Yellow here and there.

Snowdrop:

Snowdrop is small and thin
First appeared in the spring
On the warm and sunny place
Wearing a nice white dress.

Sunflower:

My colour is yellow
I’m like the sun
From morning till night
I smile and I run
With my big head
I follow the sunlight
Until the day ends
And comes dark night.

Bluebell:

Dark-blue bluebells in the grass
Ring their sunny heads
We are standing still and straight
Listen what we tell.
Bells are blue
Bells are bright
Bells are sunny
Bells are white.

Rose:

I’m rose deeply red
I smell sweetly,
Bending head.
Queen of flowers I am called
Round dance begin we all.

All Together:

Flowers are nice and bright
Meeting here all tonight

2. THE CAT & THE MOUSE!

Boy:

I have a cat
Its name is Pat
It can do this
It can do that.

Girl:

Look at my mouse
Tricks it can do
I love my mouse
It loves me, too.

Mouse (boy):

The house of a mouse
Is a very little house
Green small house
In the grass
A day ago clumsy Pete
Stirred the house with his feet
So now we can’t see
Sweetie house at the tree.

Cat (girl):

Little mouse, little mouse
Where is your house?

Mouse:

Little cat, little cat
I have no flat
I’m a poor mouse
I have no house.

Cat:

Little mouse, little mouse
Come into my house.

Mouse:

Little cat, little cat
I cannot do that
You want to eat me.

Cat:

I’m a hungry, naughty cat
Run, the mouse,
I will catch.

Boy:

Patty-cat,
Patty-cat
You can’t catch that silly rat!
It is eating tasty ham
And that sweetie apple-jam.

Girl:

Oh, my mouse
That fat cat
Is very, very bad
Run away and I’ll be glad
Giving you some milk for that.

3. SONG-GAME

C: This is the way I sleep all day…on a comfortable sofa

M: This is the way I eat my cheese

C: …wash my nose

M: …wash my paws

C: …say: “pur-pur”

M: …say: “pick-pick”

C: …catch the mouse

M: …run away

4. MEET YOUR FRIENDS

Narrator 1:

She is walking through the wood
Carrying basket full of food
Apple jam, some pies, a cake,
Some bananas, juice and stake,
Flowers for sweety granny
Not so few and not so many.

Little Red Riding Hood: (singing) This is the way I walk alone on a sunny summer morning

Dance around
Skip my rope
Say “Hello”
Sing a song.

Narrator 2:

Every day she cooks a dinner
Tasty dinner I must say
Washes dishes, sweeps the floor
So that everything’s OK.

Cinderella: This is the way I make some pies on a sunny summer morning

Do the ironing
Go shopping
Make the beds.

Narrator 3:

She is Tidy, nice and fair
She has light-blue coloured hair
And her dog is very white
Rather handsome, rather bright.

Malvina: This is the way I dance a waltz on a sunny summer morning

Gather flowers
Clap my hands
Do the sums.

Narrator 4:

He is clever, brave and strong
He does never cry at all
He can help you just at once
And gives you a happy chance.

Cat-in-Boots: This is the way I ride my bike on a sunny summer morning

Catch a mouse
Step my feet.

All the characters come to the stage together and sing.

This is the way we say “Good-bye” on a sunny summer morning.
