The ABC Party

Сценарий праздника на английском языке для 1-го класса (учебник И.Н. Верещагиной English для 1-го класса и Excellent Starter)

Праздник английского алфавита. Участвуют все первоклассники. Каждому ребёнку раздается стихотворение на какую-нибудь букву, на некоторые – по несколько стихотворений. Песни исполняются хором.

A is for animals.
I love all kinds of animals:
Squirrels, cats and rabbits.
I love all kinds of animals,
And their little habits.

B is for bird.
Once I saw a little bird
Coming hop, hop, hop
So I cried “Little bird!
Will you stop, stop, stop?”

B is for bike, too.
I like to ride a bicycle.
I like to ride a bike.

C is for cat.
This is my grey cat.
And she is fat.
I like my cat.
Sitting on my knee.

D is for dog.
My dog has four legs.
I have only two.
My dog likes to run.
I like to run, too.

E is for English.
Everybody has a hobby,
I have a hobby, too.
English is my hobby.
It’s fun for me and you.

F is for flowers.
Flowers here, flowers there.
Flowers are growing everywhere.

G is for girl.
I am a girl.
A little one.
I like to play.
I like to run.

H is for hare.
I’ve got a hare.
I’ve got a bear.
My toys are here.
My toys are there.

H is for horse, too.
My horses are white.
My kittens are grey.
I’ve got my toys.
Let’s go out and play.

I is for ice-cream.
I scream,
You scream,
We all scream
For ice-cream.

J is for jam.
Jam is nice.
Jam is sweet.
This is what
I like to eat.

K is for kitten.
Kittens like to play,
Kittens like to run,
Kittens like to jump,
It’s so much fun!

K is for kite, too

Song:

“One Little Yellow Kite”.

L is for lamb.
Mary had a little lamb,
Little lamb, little lamb.
Mary had a little lamb,
Who grew, and grew, and grew.

M is for mouse.
Little mouse, little mouse.
Where is your house?
Little cat, little cat,
This is my flat.

M is for McDonald, too.

Song: “Old McDonald”.

N is for numbers.
One banana, two bananas,
Three bananas, four.
Five bananas, six bananas,
Seven bananas, more.
One potato, two potatoes,
Three potatoes, four.
Five potatoes, six potatoes,
Seven potatoes, more.

O is for orange.
This is orange,
The colour and the fruit.
My fox is orange
And so is my flute.

P is for pet.
Pussy cat, pussy cat,
Where have you been?
I’ve been to London
To look at the Queen.

Q is for queen.
I’m the Queen.
My name is Alice.
I’m beautiful
and live in the palace.

R is for rose.
The rose is red.
The violet is blue.
Honey is sweet
And so are you.

R is for rain, too.
Rain, rain, go away.
Come again another day.
Little children want to play.

S is for star.
Twinkle, twinkle, little star.
How I wonder what you are!
Up above the world so high
Like a diamond in the sky.

S is for swing, too.

Song:

Swinging, swinging high and low.
Swinging, swinging to and fro.

T is for teddy bear.
Teddy bear, teddy bear,
Turn around.
Teddy bear, teddy bear,
Touch the ground.

U is for umbrella.
This is my umbrella.
When the sky is grey,
I can go for a walk
On a rainy day.

V is for victory.
The ninth of May
Is Victory Day.
We sing and play
On this happy day.

W is for what, where and why.
Why do you cry, Willy?
Why do you cry?
Why, Willy, why, Willy?
Why, Willy, why?

X is in six, fox and box.
I see a red fox
In a little box.

Y is for yard.
This is the yard,
Where children play.
We play in the yard
All summer day.
Hide and seek we like to play.
Oh, it’s fun. Oh, it’s fun.
Leap-frog is a game, too.
Oh, it’s fun. Oh, it’s fun.
Do you like to play hopscotch?
Yes, I do. Yes, I do.
And my friends like to play tag.
And me, too, and me, too.

Z is for Zoo.
Let’s go to the Zoo.
We’ll see many animals
And many birds, too.

All pupils sing the “ABC Song”.
