An Address to School Graduates
You are future graduates. Of course, this year is the most significant of all school years. You have written many compositions, dictations, tests, etc. No doubt, you have suffered a lot. But I’m sure you will remember your favorite teachers. And I believe everyone will have good memories about their schools.
You will have to work hard to graduate with good and excellent marks. You should not be lazy and indifferent. Thomas Alva Edison, the American inventor, said that only work can bring success. I agree with this statement.
May and June are difficult months for all graduates. But I feel that things that are going to happen in my life will be wonderful. I want to find my place in the world. And in my opinion my classmates have the same feeling, too. I hope that I will not forget my classmates and they will not forget me in the future. We will meet again, but it will be later. Now, my classmates and I must pass examinations successfully.
My school friends are very kind and generous. I wish them happiness, health and success! And do not forget the proverb “Live and learn”!
And, of course, I love my teachers too. They gave us valuable knowledge during the school years. These talented and wonderful people work very hard. I’m sure they love their work. I wish them health, patience and great success, too.
My mother says that the school years are the best in a person’s life. And I hope, those years I’ve spent in school will be one of the best memories in my life.
