Autobiography Unit

Grades: 5–12

Materials: writing materials.

Method:
In your paper format, have the students complete 10 or more of the following:

• Describe your favourite part of school.
• Describe what you remember about your first day of school.
• Write about your best friend(s).
• Write about your greatest memory from your school life.
• Write about your goals for the future.
• Write about what you would like to thank your parents for.
• Write about yourself through the years. You may wish to do a page for a group of grades.
• Write about your lucky number.
• Write about your favorite book.
• Write about your favorite subject in school.
• Write about your hobbies/pastimes.
• Write about your likes and dislikes.
• Write about your favorite music and/or group.
• Write about your favorite actor/actress.
• Write about your favorite movie.
• Write about your family. You might decide to give a paragraph to each person.
• Write about your best trip/outing.
• Write about your favorite sport.
• Write about your favorite or best remembered school trip.
• Write about your best memory.
