Welcome, Welcome Spring

(внеклассное мероприятие для учащихся 6-7-x классов)

Цели: повторить пройденный учебный материал в неформальной обстановке; активизировать у учащихся творческие способности при подготовке и проведении праздника; повысить интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка.
Оборудование: стенные газеты на темы “Весна”, “Первые весенние цветы”, “Первые птицы весны”, “Погода весной”; красочные картинки и фотографии о весне и весенних цветах, инвентарь (лопата, грабли для работы в огороде); шары; костюмы; магнитофонные записи для музыкального сопровождения танцев.

Ход мероприятия

1. Вступление. Стихи о весне и весенних месяцах.

На сцену выходит ведущий. Слышится пение птиц.

Narrator: Good morning, children!
Children: Good morning, good morning, good morning to you!
Good morning, good morning, we are glad to see you!

Дети читают стихи о весне.

1. What does it mean when the blackbird comes
And builds its nest, singing sweet and clear?
When violets peep through the blades of grass?
These are the songs that spring is here.

2. This is the season
When birds make their nest,
This is the season
We all like best.

3. Spring is coming,
Spring is coming,
Flowers are coming too,
Snowdrops, lilies, daffodils
Now are coming too.

4. This is season
When the snowdrop flowers,
When nobody likes
To stay indoors.

Narrator: Children, what spring months do you know?
Children: March, April, May.

Дети читают стихи о весенних месяцах.

March

2. Ролевая игра “В огороде”
На сцену выходит девочка.

Girl: What a nice day
It is to day!
I’m happy and merry,
I sing again
Because today
It is spring again.
Narrator: I want to have pretty flowers in my garden. (обращается к детям) Children, what must I do?
Children:1. Dig the ground.
2. Rake around.
3. Sow the seeds.
And you will gather flowers.
Girl: Thank you, children.
It’s good to be back
On the soil again,
Out in the garden
To work again.
It’s good to plant
And sow again,
To dig and to rake
And to work all day.

Девочка берёт лопату и делает вид, что копает, потом берёт грабли.

Girl: I dig and dig with my spade. I rake and rake with my rake. Now I shall sow my seeds.

Девочка делает вид, что сажает семена.

Children: A little sun,
A little rain,
And lovely flowers
Are here again.

Дети поют.

Children: Rain, rain, rain, April rain,
You are feeding seeds and grain,
You are raising plants and crops
With your brightly sparkling drops.
Rain, rain, go away.

3. Инсценирование сказки “Бал цветов”
Действующие лица: роза-королева, фиалка, подснежник, лютик, колокольчик, василек.
На заднем плане сцены на троне сидит королева-роза. К ней по очереди подходят цветы и представляют себя.

Snowdrop: I am a nice little flower in a white dress. I have no smell.
Queen-rose: Your name will be Snowdrop. You will be the first flower in spring. People will see you on the places where the snow becomes water in the sun. They will like you very much.

Подснежник кланяется и становится рядом с троном.

Violet: I am a spring flower, too. My dress is Violet. I am very nice, as you see.
Queen-rose: Your name is Violet. You will come after the Snowdrop, a little later, when there is no snow in the fields, the days are longer and it is warmer.

Фиалка кланяется и становится по другую сторону трона.

Buttercup: I am a little flower. I am dressed in a nice yellow dress. I like the sun, I like when it’s warm.
Queen-rose: Then you must come in summer, when it is warm and the sun shines all day long. Your name will be Buttercup.

Лютик кланяется и становится рядом с подснежником.

Bluebell: I am blue like the sky, and my dress is like a bell. I like the sun, too.
Queen-rose: Oh, I know, your name will be Bluebell. People will see you in the grass. You will make the fields beautiful.

Колокольчик кланяется и становится рядом с фиалкой.

Cornflower: My colour is blue too. I make the fields beautiful, but make the harvest not very rich.
Queen-rose: Your name, my beautiful one, will be Cornflower. People will see you in the fields all the summer.

Василёк кланяется и становится рядом с колокольчиком.

Sunflower: Look at me, please. I am like the golden sun.
Queen-rose: Yes, you look like the sun, so your name will be Sun-flower. People will see you in the country in August, and you will look at the sun every day.

Подсолнух кланяется и становится рядом по другую сторону.

Queen-rose: (stands up and goes to the room) Well, my dear flowers. Now you know that you are spring and summer flowers. You are not garden flowers. People can see most of you only in the fields. Now let us sing and dance. Spring and summer will come here soon, and you must be ready to come together with them: first Snowdrop, then Violet, after them the Buttercup and the Bluebell, and then the Corn-flower and Sunflower.

Все цветы становятся в круг и поют.

Flowers: ‘Tis springtime, ‘tis springtime,
Cold winter is past,
Warm breezes are blowing,
And May’s here at last.
The birds are returning.
Their songs you can hear,
And meadows are smiling
With spring flowers here.

Прилетают “птицы”.

Birds: Flowers here,
Flowers there,
Flowers in blossom
Everywhere.

Дети поют.

Children:
Birds are in the tree tops
Flying here and there,
Everything is growing,
Spring is everywhere.
Flowers are in the garden,
Butterflies are there
Flying round the blossoms,
Spring is everywhere.
Girl: A lot of spring flowers,
And sunny warm weather,
And singing and dancing –
All come together.

Все становятся полукругом и поют.

Children:
In the merry month of May
All the flowers are so gay.
They all play and sing and say...
Winter days are far away
Welcome, welcome, merry May.

4. Кроссворд.
1. The flower that is like the golden sun.

3. A spring month.
4. The flower whose dress is violet.
5. The flower whose dress is white.
6. Are the days in spring longer or shorter?

5. Заключительный этап. Подведение итогов.

Teacher: You were artistic. You acted very well. You recited very well.
You sang and danced very well. You know many new words.
Your pronunciation and your intonation were very good.
You were excellent. I am proud of you.
