Открытый урок в 4 классе
Цели урока:
1. Учебная: развитие умения говорить. (Задачи: обучать высказыванию о своих увлечениях, учить оценивать увлечения других.)
2. Воспитательная: направить увлечения учеников в нужное русло.
3. Развивающая: развивать мышление, память, логику, цельность высказывания, формировать навыки общения.
Речевой материал: весь материал по данной теме по учебнику Верещагиной, 4 кл.
Оборудование:
1. Коллекции: марок, значков, монет, кружек, мягких игрушек, книг.
2. Видеофильм “London”.
3. Аудиокассета с записью песни “Mr. Crocodile” (кассета 52, 4 кл.).
4. Карточки с изображением различных коллекций.
5. Проекты “My hobby”.
6. Кассета с музыкой “Румба”.

IV. Аудирование
Чтение письма английской девочки Мэри с описанием её увлечений (текст произвольный). Учитель читает письмо и задаёт вопросы.
1. Who is writing this letter?
2. Why hasn’t she written for a long time?
3. What is the letter about?
4. What is she interested in?
V. Повторение слов по теме “My Hobby”
Teacher: Look at the blackboard. Here you see some words, but the letters in them are mixed. Put them in the right order to have a proper word.
a) Решение анаграмм.
edagbs (badges), inocs (coins), sehlls (shells),
beplbes (pebbles), okobs (books),
yot arcs (toy cars), tofs otys (soft toys)
б) К разгаданным словам ребята подбирают картинки и вешают их рядом с соответствующими словами (на столе карточки с изображением).

Teacher: What do you think a hobby is? Let’s speak about your hobbies.
Travelling (видеофильм “London”). And now watch an extract from the film “London” and say what kind of hobby it is.
Who is interested in travelling? Tell us about your hobby.

Teacher: I see a very good collection of stamps on the desk.
Whose collection is it? Is your collection thematic? What is its name? What can stamps teach you? Are you proud of your collection(s)? And now tell us a few words about your collections.

Teacher: There is one more hobby – going to the theatre.
Who enjoys going to the theatre? Are you a theatre-goer? Do you prefer to have seats in the stalls or in the balcony? What is your favourite theatre?

Which of you adores reading? What types of books do you prefer? Have you got a big collection of books at home? How long have you been collecting books? Tell us about your libraby.

Teacher: Whose hobby do you think is the best? You know there is a proverb “Tastes differ”. Who can explain the meaning to us?

Teacher: In conclusion, I’d like to say that it’s very interesting to have a hobby. Hobbies help us to learn more about our planet, to be more intelligent and well-educated. We should all have a hobby and our life will be more interesting.
