Where is love?
 We live in such tough time, when money is one of the most important mean that
helps to put affairs into order. That is why most people go out to get a well-paid job
with perspectives. But can that bring real happiness?
Many scientists have noticed that the satisfaction of physiological
needs can’t be the base of a person’s life. We need self-affirmation,
self-actualization and the feeling of belonging. A mixture of these needs can make a
person happy. But to become blissfully happy a person needs to have a beloved person who
will be ready to support him at any moment. Love is what we need.
According to the statistics made by the “Levado Centre” (1600
people were questioned, 18 years old), every second person in Russia is in love (51%), 42%
are not and 7% find it difficult to answer. The majority of those who are in love said
that love helps them to look forward to the future with faith. And it really is true that
an enamored person becomes inspired: he becomes more opened to the world and everything
becomes much easier to achieve.
But don’t forget about the rest of the people who are not in love
yet. They are ready to love, they dream to find their true love; they search for it, but
despite everything love doesn’t come. Day by day they ask themselves a question:
“Where is the love? How to find true love?”
Here and there I hear people say that they have lost all hope to meet
the most important person of their life. They find many arguments to support that: either
they are not communicative enough, or they don’t easily meet new groups of people, or
they work like horses “from dawn to dusk” and don’t have time for personal social
life. As a result these “zealous for love” don’t have a chance to find new
interesting people who might be “the ones”. But it’s just a minor quibble.
People are social creatures. Communication is one of the most important
things that “make our world turn round”. So if a person is too timid to meet new
people himself – he can meet a beloved person in his circle of friends, at a party –
wherever someone else will introduce him to another person; if a person works too much –
he can meet a person on the Internet at any time, even while working, or he can send a
kind of a resume to the matching agency. There are many situations where people can meet
interesting people, among which they might find “the one”.
…But the whole sense of love is that you don’t have to find it –
one day IT will find you. It will happen unexpectedly, when you aren’t thinking whether
it is it or not – it will create a “thunder in your heart” that will make you feel:
“Yes. This is it!”
