Весенний фестиваль 2004
Русский фольклор на английском языке
Учителя английского языка часто испытывают
недостаток в материалах по внеклассным
мероприятиям для детей младшей школы. Это тем
более грустно, что именно в этом возрасте дети
особенно естественны и органичны на сцене. А как
они любят играть!
Изучение языка для детей 6–7 лет – занимательная
игра. В этом возрасте у детей развита
долговременная память, и грех этим не
воспользоваться для закладки на будущее
полезных фраз и конструкций.
Приведенный ниже сценарий весеннего фестиваля
называется “Русский фольклор на английском
языке”. Он является логическим продолжением
декады русского и английского языков под
названием “Билингва – диалог культур”, который
прошел в ноябре 2003 г.
Сценарий объединяет 1, 2 и 4 классы. В качестве
зрителей мы приглашаем родителей. Подобные
“клубные” встречи нужны и нам, учителям, и
родителям.
Вступление
Занавес закрыт. Мягкий свет. На
авансцене сидит Бабушка в чепце и вяжет. Рядом с
ней корзина с нитками. Звучит тихая музыка.
Внучка листает книжку, разглядывая картинки.
Позевывает.
Внучка: Бабушка, а бабушка!
Расскажи мне сказочку, а?
Бабушка устало смотрит на внучку
через очки.
Внучка: Ну, пожалуйста! Что тебе
стоит? Ты же этих сказок знаешь видимо-невидимо!
Бабушка: Вот тут ты ошибаешься,
внученька. За эти семь лет я тебе все-все-все
рассказала, что знала, а иные сказки и по
несколько раз.
Внучка: Неужели на свете сказок
больше нет?
Бабушка: Может и есть, да мне они не
ведомы.
Внучка: Бабулечка, а что если
рассказывать старые сказки по-новому?
Бабушка: Это как же это, по-новому?
Внучка: Ну, например, старая
русская сказка, а происходит в другой стране или
в далеком будущем.
Бабушка: Это как же так! Наша Репка
расти будет где-нибудь в Алабаме, а Колобок
покатится по дорогам 21-го века? Так что ли,
фантазерка ты моя неугомонная!
Внучка: Ну не знаю…
Бабушка: Нет, такое только во сне
присниться может.
У бабули укатился моток ниток, и она
пытается его поднять.
Бабушка: Ой-ей-ей!
Внучка: Что с тобой, бабулечка?
Бабушка: Да ревматизма замучила.
Умаялась я за день-то. Давай, внученька моя, не
чуди, а ложись-ка спать, а я тебе, так уж и быть,
колыбельную песенку спою.
Поет колыбельную, внучка засыпает.
Бабушка: Спит егоза. И мне пора на
покой.
Скоморохи: Собирайся, народ!
Открывай пошире рот!

Или попросту Cocktail.
Три медведя, серый зайка,
Гуси, Емеля, балалайка,
Волк и семеро козлят
Вас сейчас повеселят!
Не прощаемся засим
“See you later” – говорим.

Занавес открывается. Звучит мелодия
“Барыня”. Осторожно, озираясь, входит Машенька.
Masha: What a wonderful house! Oh, milk! Bread! I’m so hungry!
Пробует еду и молоко из разных
кружек.
Masha: What a nice bed! I’m tired…
Устало потягиваясь, зевая,
укладывается в кровать. Входят медведи. Идут
ужинать к столу и…
Father Bear: My cup is empty.
Mother Bear: My cup is empty, too.
Little Bear: And my cup is empty. I’m hungry!
Father Bear: Stop crying! Look! Who is it?
Mother Bear: A little girl, I think.
Little Bear: Let’s eat her up!
Father Bear: Sh…no, sonny. She is so beautiful. You can play
with her.
Little Bear: Play? Hm…good idea. Hey! Wake up!
Masha: Oh, who are you?
All: We!!?? We are the 3 bears, and who are you?
Masha: I’m Masha.
Little Bear: Masha, can you play with a ball?
Masha: Ball? Yes, I can.
Father Bear: Good girl! Let’s have some milk! Come on, kids.
Тихо беседуя, идут к столу.
Рассаживаются и пьют молоко.
Scene 2
Слышен из-за кулис зов Бабули.
Появляются одновременно и гуси, и бабуся.
Granny: Goslings! Goslings!
Goslings:
Ga-ga-ga!
We are happy Goslings,
We are funny Goslings,
One is grey, another white,
We’re together day and night.
Granny:
Oh, my dear Goslings
Oh, my lovely Goslings
Come to me, let’s dance together
Goslings, dear Goslings.
Радостно танцуют и уходят влево,
вглубь сцены, где Бабуля кормит и чистит перышки
своим гусям.
Hare:
Я шоколадный заяц,
Я вас зову на танец,
Я сладкий на все 100.
О! О! О!
 На
третьем “О!” он вдруг видит гостеприимный дом
медведей.
Hare: Oh! What a nice house! Hi, everybody! May I come in?
Bears: Yes, you may!
Granny: Come in, Chocolate Hare!
Заяц подходит сначала к хозяевам и
здоровается с ними за руку, затем целует ручку
Маше. Идет к гусям с хлебом, а в это время…
Yemelya: Hey, fish! Give me my wish!
Fish: Yes, sir. What would you like?
Yemelya: I need friends. I’m so lonely…
Fish: I can do it. Close your eyes! 1, 2, 3! Open your eyes!
 Открыв глаза, Емеля увидел домик, полный
гостей, весело его приветствующих.
Yemelya: Oh! Hello, friends!
All: Hello, Yemelya! How are you?
Yemelya: I’m fine now.
All: Come in then.
Емеля поет песню, и весь сказочный
народ танцует вместе с ним, разделяя его радость.
Yemelya:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, once I caught a fish alive.
6, 7, 8, 9, 10, then I let it go again.
Scene 5
Не успели гости и хозяева допеть
куплет, как душераздирающий крик о помощи
нарушает праздничное настроение обитателей
домика. Это кричат Козлята, которых преследует
Волк.
Goat Kids: Mummy, mummy! Where are you?
Wolf: I’m going to eat you up!
Goat Kids: No, no! Help, help!
Mummy Goat: What’s up? A…a… wolf! It’s you again! Come
here.
Wolf: Я больше не буду…
Mummy Goat: That’s better.
Masha: Давайте жить дружно!
We can dance, we can sing,
We can do everything.
Весело всем. Занавес медленно
закрывается, а песня еще звучит. Вдруг, опять
шумно, появляются уже знакомые скоморохи.
Скоморохи:
Собирайся, народ! Открывай пошире рот!
Смотри сказку про Репку,
Но не жди увидеть Дедку!
Сказка будет по-английски,
Кое-что и по-российски.
Кто язык тот трудный знает – тот сидит и
отдыхает!
Эй! Рот не разевай и дело смекай. Good-bye!

All: John is coming!
John:
Hi, Alabama!!
I’ve left my Russian Mama,
With my pocket full of seeds.
I’ve come to Alabama,
Hi, my family and kids!
Cowboy 1: What seeds have you got, John?
John: It’s a Russian vegetable named Repka (turnip).
Cowboys 2,3,4: Repka, Repka, Repka, Repka…
Cowboy 5: Is it tasty?
John: Hm…Very tasty.
Cowboy 3: Let’s plant it quickly!
Son: It will be big, won’t it?
John: I don’t know exactly.
Wife: Let’s wait and see.
Все обитатели города окружают Репку,
копают и поют.
All: Grow, grow Repka, big and sweet.
John: Autumn comes. What a big Repka we have! I want to pull it
out of the ground.
Cowboys 1,2,3: It’s too big. Uppps!
John: I can do this. It’s nothing. I can do that. It’s
nothing. What else can I do?
John: No, it’s too big for me. Wife! Come here.
Wife: All right. I’m coming. What’s up?
John: The Repka is too big for me. Could you help me, Mary?
Wife: Yes, of course I can. 1, 2, 3. No result. It’s too big
for us both.
John: What else can we do?
Wife: Let’s call our daughter!
John and Wife: Daughter, daughter, daughter! Come here!
Daughter: All right. I’m coming. What’s up?
John and Wife: The Repka is too big for us. Could you help us?
Daughter: No, I’m very busy. My friends are waiting for me. We
are going to the disco.
John: No disco for you!
Wife: Stop crying! Call your friends. We will pull it out at
once. And then you’ll go to the disco. OK?
Daughter: OK. Friends! Guys! Come on!
Friends: What’s up?
Daughter: It’s the Repka. It’s too big. You see? We can’t
pull it out. Could you help us?
Friends: Of course we can.
All: 1, 2, 3. Yes!!!
(Звучит припев песни группы “Корни”
“Я теряю корни…”.)
Repka: Here I am!! Hello, everybody!
Friends: Hello…who are you?
Repka: I’m Russian Repka! Who is from Russia?
John: My Mum is.
Repka: Oh, you must be John.
John: Yes, I am.
Repka: Let’s go back to Russia together!
John: I can’t. My family is here now, my friends are here,
too.
Repka: What shall I do then?
Friends: Stay with us.
Daughter: Yes, he is right!
Son: Stay with us, please!
John: Hush! Be quiet!
Wife: OK. Join us! Let’s live together.
Repka: But what shall I do here?
John: Everything will be OK. We can show you on TV.
Daughter: Everybody will know you!
Repka: Everybody?
Friends: Everybody!!
John: Stand up! STOP! LOOK! LISTEN!
SONG
We shall sing a simple song,
People must live very long.
Live without any sorrow,
This day and, of course, tomorrow.
You must be in a happy mood,
Let your life be always good.
Занавес закрывается, и вновь
появляются скоморохи.
Скоморохи:
Собирайся, народ! Открывай пошире рот!
Долгий путь у колобка,
Но пока что он – мука.
Что он ищет – тот узнает,
Кто про школу “УНА” знает,
Бей погромче в барабан
Ну, а зрителям: “Have fun!”
Form 4
KOLOBOK’S INVESTIGATION
(“Следствие ведет Колобок”)
Scene 1
Занавес открывается. It’s a poor room in the
village. There are two people in it. An old man is sleeping; an old woman is sitting at
the window and singing a very dull song. She’s playing the Russian balalayka.
Old Woman:
Oh, frost and frost,
Don’t freeze me so worst (2)
Don’t freeze my horse…
Old Man: Mmm…I’m hungry. I need some food to eat. Hey! Old
woman! Bring me some bread.
Old Woman: Some bread, some bread…we have nothing to eat.
Nothing!!
Old Man: A slice of bread…a piece of bread…some crumbs…
oh, my poor stomach!
Old Woman: Don’t you hear me? We haven’t got any food!
Old Man: Then go and scrape in your pots, sweep your barn. I’m
a poor thing. Nobody loves me, nobody feels sorry for me!
Old Woman: Stop crying! You’re worse than a child.
Old Man: Oh!!
Old Woman: OK, I’m going. Just wait. Crying and crying all day
long.
Crash, boom, bang!!! Old woman coms back. Her face is covered with
flour. There is a little yellow ball in her hand.
Old Man: Wow! Kolobochek! I’m going to eat you up!
Old Woman: Don’t touch it! It’s very hot. Let it stay here
for a while. And you…bring some water from the well!
Old Man: Oh, no!
Old Woman: Come on! Move your body!
 Scene 2
They’ve gone. The yellow ball falls down and transforms into the
Kolobok. He is singing the song.
Kolobok: (song)
I’m the Muffin Man, I’m not a dog,
I’m soft and tasty Kolobok.
I’m Muffin Man and I’m not a frog.
I’m a very clever Kolobok!!
Oh, what a beautiful world! Life is wonderful! What’s this?
Suddenly, he sees a sign. It says: “If you go right – you’ll
go to school; if you go left – you’ll go to the stomach”.
Kolobok: Hmm… the choice is not difficult. Well, I don’t
want to be somebody’s breakfast. I’m in my right mind. I’d like to be a
well-educated man. So, I’ll go there through the wood.
The children-trees appear with the sound “Shoo”. Kolobok is
singing his song and walking along the path by the trees.
Kolobok:
I’m walking through the forest,
I’m looking for some friends.
I’m singing, dancing, rolling,
Rock and rolling to the end.
It seems I’ve lost my way. There are only trees there. Tall trees…
Trees: Tall trees, tall trees, big tall trees. Tall trees, tall
trees, big tall trees.
Kolobok: The coast of California is a beautiful sight…
Trees: With the tall trees, tall trees, big tall trees. Shoo…
Scene 3
The first meeting, with the Russian Language. Kolobok is tired and
falls asleep. The Russian Language (R.L.) is coming up.
R.L.: О, какой милый, румяный и
ароматный. Что он делает в лесу? Один, в такой
поздний час? Его же могут съесть! Надо его
разбудить. Проснись! Привет, Малыш!
Kolobok: Hello!
R.L.: Ты кто?
Kolobok: I’m Kolobok. And who are you?
R.L.: Я – Русский язык. А что ты
делаешь здесь?
Kolobok: I’m looking for the best place to study.
R.L.: Ищешь лучшее место для учебы?
Тебе страшно повезло. Идем со мной. Я покажу тебе
такое место. Ты будешь там один.
Kolobok: Alone? But I’m looking for friends, too.
R.L.: Никаких друзей, только ты. И
будешь учить Русский с утра и до вечера. Русский,
Русский и Русский.
Kolobok: Only Russian?
R.L.: Да, только Русский. Это чудесно,
не так ли?
Kolobok: No, it doesn’t suit me. (Song)
I’ve run away from an old man
and an old woman,
and I can run away from you, too.
He sings his song and disappears.
R.L.: Где же ты, Малыш? Исчез… Какая
жалость!
Scene 4
The second meeting, with Mathematics (Maths).
Kolobok: It’s getting dark. There are plenty of stars in the
sky. Oh, somebody’s coming. Who is it, I wonder?
Maths: One and one are two. Two and two are four. Four and four
are… Oh, what a surprise! Hello, a young man! Who are you?
Kolobok: Hello! I’m Kolobok! And who are you?
Maths: I’m Mathematics! What are you doing here?
Kolobok: I’m looking for the best place to study.
Maths: Come with me. I’ll show you such a place. You’ll be
there alone.
Kolobok: Alone? But I’m looking for friends.
Maths: No friends allowed there. You’ll study only
Mathema-tics. From morning till night... Mathematics, Mathematics and Mathematics.
Kolobok: Only Mathematics?
Maths: Yes! Only Mathematics! Isn’t it wonderful?
Kolobok: No, it doesn’t suit me. (Song)
I’ve run away from an old man

and I can run away from you, too.
He sings his song and disappears.
Maths: Where is he? He’s gone… What a pity!
Scene 5
The third meeting, with English Language (E.L.).
E.L.: Hey! Who are you, stranger?
Kolobok: Hello! I’m Kolobok! And who are you?
E.L.: I’m English language! What are you doing here?
Kolobok: I’m looking for the best place to study.
E.L.: Come with me. I’ll show you such a place. You’ll be
there alone.
Kolobok: Alone? But I’m looking for friends.
E.L.: No friends allowed there. You’ll study only English.
From morning till night... English, English and English.
Kolobok: Only English?
E.L.: Yes!! Only English! Isn’t it wonderful?
Kolobok: No, It doesn’t suit me. (Song)
I’ve run away from an old man
and an old woman,
and I can run away from you, too.
He sings his song and disappears.
E.L.: Where is he? He’s gone… What a pity!
Scene 6
The fourth meeting, with Sport.
Sport: Hands up! Hands down! Hands on hips! Sit down! Hey!
Don’t be lazy, clumsy boy! You play with a barbell as with a toy! Who are you?
Kolobok: I’m Kolobok! And who are you, stranger?
Sport: I’m Sport!
Kolobok: Wow! I’ve never done sports.
Sport: Oh, poor thing! What are you doing here?
Kolobok: I’m looking for the best place to study.
Sport: Come with me. I’ll show you such a place. You’ll be
there alone.
Kolobok: Alone? But I’m looking for friends.
Sport: No friends allowed there. You’ll do sports. From
morning till night... Sports, Sports and Sports.
Kolobok: Only Sports?
Sport: Yes!! Only Sports! Isn’t it wonderful?
Kolobok: No, it doesn’t suit me. (Song)

Scene 7
The fifth meeting, with Food.
Food: I have fish, I have eggs, I have cheese and meat. I have
cakes and biscuits. Hey! Are you hungry?
Kolobok: No, thanks.
Food sniffs.
Food: Vanilla cream? Fruit and nuts? Who are you, my sweet?
Kolobok: I’m Kolobok! I’m an ordinary bread. You see? And
who are you?
Food: I’m Food! Nobody can live without me. Well, what are you
doing here?
Kolobok: I’m looking for the best place to study.
Food: Study? Bad idea. Come with me. I’ll show you such
delicious things! You’ll be there alone.
Kolobok: Alone? Alone again… but I’m looking for friends.
Food: No friends allowed there. You’ll eat and drink from
morning till night... Eat and drink, eat and drink, eat and drink.
Kolobok: Only eating? Only drinking?
Food: Yes!! Only eating and drinking! Isn’t it wonderful?
Kolobok: No, it doesn’t suit me. (Song)
I’ve run away from an old man

and I can run away from you, too.
I’ve spent a whole hour without any results. Where is my way?
Trees transform into children.
Scene 8
The sixth meeting, with Friends.
Friends: Hi! Who are you, fellow?
Kolobok:
Hello!
I’m Kolobok!
I’m Muffin Man,
I’m not a dog,
I’m soft and tasty Kolobok.
I’m Muffin Man and I’m not a frog.
I’m very clever Kolobok!
And who are you?
Friends: We are pupils. What are you doing here?
Kolobok: I’d like to be the first well-educated Muffin Man in
the world. I’m looking for the best place to study.
Friends: Are you? Really? Come with us. We’ll show you such a
place. You’ll study Russian, English, Maths, do Sports and many other subjects there.
Kolobok: Alone?
Friends: No! You’ll study with your friends.
Kolobok: And… what about food?
Friends: Don’t worry! We’ve got a lot of tasty and healthy
food to eat.
Kolobok: What kind of school do you mean?
Friends: School N!
Kolobok: N?
Friends: Yes! It’s the best place for studying!
Kolobok: What about friends?
Friends: Look around! Now you have a lot of them.
Kolobok: Thank you, my dear friends. I am happy now.
(song) Oh, do you know the Muffin Man, the Johnnycake, the Kolobok?
Oh, do you know the Muffin Man, who has a lot of friends?
Yes, we know, now we know, we all know him!
 Занавес
закрывается. Луч света направлен на Бабушку и
Внучку. Они просыпаются.
Внучка: Ой, бабуля, что я во сне
видела!
Бабушка: Летала в сказочную страну?
Внучка: А откуда ты знаешь?
Бабушка: Я ведь тоже ребенком была.
Ну, давай уж, рассказывай. Вижу тебе не терпится.
Внучка: Все сказки, что ты мне
рассказывала, перевелись на английский язык.
Бабушка: Так вот сами и перевелись?
По щучьему велению?
Внучка: Не знаю… наверно… знаешь
что, бабушка, вот я вырасту и все твои сказки
переведу на английский язык.
Бабушка: Вот и умница. А пока иди
делать английский. Тебе завтра Revision 7 писать.
Внучка: С удовольствием! Я теперь
знаю, зачем учу английский!
Появляются скоморохи.
Скоморохи: Вам Шекспир сказать
велел: “All is well when the end is well.”
Всех артистов ждем на сцене,
Зритель вас сейчас оценит.
Хорошо закончен бал,
Вот и рукоплещет зал!!
Аплодисменты.
А теперь споем все вместе.
Время прозвучать и песне.
Собирайся народ! Открывай пошире рот!!
ФИНАЛЬНАЯ ПЕСНЯ
