Цель урока: урок задуман как
контроль реальных знаний учащихся, так как все
тексты в учебнике Кузовлева имеют ключи, что
часто позволяет учащимся получить оценку выше
той, которая соответствует их истинным знаниям.
Задачи: контроль усвоения
страноведческих знаний, полученных в основной и
средней школе, воспитание уважения к культуре
англо-язычных стран, развитие интеллектуальных
способностей учащихся.
Оборудование: карты (США,
Великобритании, Австралии), видеофильмы “Glimpses over
the USA”, фонограмма песни “Auld Lang Syne”.
I. Организационный момент.
Teacher: Good morning! It’s a great pleasure to meet you. We
have gathered to compete for the best expert on the English-speaking countries’
cultures, traditions, histories, geographies and other spheres. It’s obvious, that all
of you are full of enthusiasm and eager to be the best. As the proverb says: “Intention
