THE POSSESSIVE CASE OF NOUNS
Teacher: Do you remember our friend Donald Duck? He likes
secrets very much. He knows you very well, but he wants to know:
– Kate, what’s your mother’s name?
– Mary, what’s your father’s name?
– Vanya, have you got a brother or a sister? What’s your sister’s name?
– Thank you very much!!! You are so wonderful! Let’s play a game!
Donald Duck gives toys to the pupils and asks questions.
– Dima, what colour is Mary’s giraffe?
– OK, well done! Now, give me your toys.
Donald Duck puts the toys into the empty box and then takes one toy
out of the box and asks.
– Mary, whose toy is this?
– I think, this is Dima’s crocodile.
– Thank you, children! Good bye!
Teacher: Dima, you are on duty today. Don’t forget to take the
pupils’ exercise-books. Our lesson is over, good bye! Thank you for the lesson.
