PRONOUN WORK
One, Another, the Other, Others, the Others
These words may be used as pronouns or adjectives. They are used
frequently to list a series of items. The choice depends on how many items are in the
group and whether or not the person is talking about the entire group.
Examples
We own two cars. One is red, and the other
is blue.
We own several cars. One is red, and another is blue. Others are green.
We own three cars. One is red, and the others are blue. |
